I've seen that message before! "ERROR while decoding metadata STATE=FLAC_STREAM_DECODER_END_OF_STREAM" means that it reached the end of the file (stream) before it was supposed to. In other words, you only got part of the file. If you've tried re-downloading, and still got the same message, then the Archive probably only has part of the file, and someone will have to contact the uploader and persuade him/her to re-upload the complete file.

Post a link to the show page, and also post the exact name of the file that causes this error, and others can look into the problem.

Yup, as xtifr said, if you're still getting problems on the individual files, file an error report. I looked at the item in question and it doesn't appear that the FLACs were ever verified because the uploader requested no derivatives (the flac checksum is only run if derivs are requested). So there was no notification sent of bad files. We'll have to alert the uploader, so definitely post the info on bad tracks.

Sometimes you might get corrupted SHN or FLAC files. These don''t decompress using the usual software. Other programs (Nero plugins) will sometime do the job; but then you notice that half the song isn't even there.

I encountered this problem with two recent David Gans uploads and notified him about the problems. I'm not sure if they have been fixed. One of the shows is from 8/11/06 BTW...
